Improve your relationships.

The central idea of the Psychology of Love is that relationships are a vehicle for growth. The course will help you to reflect upon your experiences of love and how these past experiences have been affecting the relationships you already have. It is insightful to see how our love experiences are colored by the innate archetypes we carry, and our experiences with the primary male and female caregivers. This course explores three primary archetypes – Mother, Father, and Other – that influence our individuation on the issue of love. This course is accessible for everyone!

Join the gifted teacher J. Pittman McGehee in understanding the psychology of love and learn to improve your relationship with others and yourself.

This program is being offered by the Jung Center of Houston and the Jung Platform. The original recording of these lectures took place at the Jung Center. The recordings have been remastered.

Course Description

Love is marvelous; it is a vehicle for great transformation but it can also be deeply troublesome. Love troubles bring us directly in touch with our complexes—the place where we can heal and grow. When we embark on this labor of love, it has a direct influence on our wellbeing and the development of our consciousness. We activate our ability to find love and be in a loving relationship.

The soul-oriented perspective offered in the course is an opportunity to learn more about yourself, others, and the divine, and to deepen your intimate relationships. J. Pittman McGehee takes us on a tour through the archetypal world and weaves it masterfully together with our life experiences in this practice-oriented course.
