Darlena Dench

Darlena Dench, Ph.D., CCHt, is a Jungian-oriented educator and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. Her graduate work in Mythological Studies and Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute explored myth, symbol, image, and ritual as expressions of psychological processes in individuals and cultures, and her doctoral dissertation examined cross-cultural travel experiences as catalysts for individuation and soul-making.

A long-time traveler, tour director, and “bridge person” between cultures, she is especially interested in how the psychology of place and collective contemporary myths shape our experience and the stories of our lives. In private practice, she integrates dreamwork, imagery-based methods, and hypnotherapy to guide accomplished adults whose lives have been shaped by cross-cultural movement and complex identities. Her experiential workshops invite participants into a more conscious relationship with symbolic process, imagination, and the body, emphasizing practical, somatic tools that can support psychological development in everyday life.
