Most approaches to codependency focus on surface behaviors and coping strategies. They rarely touch the deeper psychological and mythic forces that sustain the pattern.

Guided by Craig Chalquist, an experienced depth psychologist, you are introduced to a Jungian perspective that reveals the archetypal structure beneath codependency, including the split of the wounded healer and the living dynamic of Narcissus and Echo.

This lens allows you not only to recognize patterns, but to understand their deeper roots and meaning. This all allows for deep healing to occur.

Talk Description

Why do some people keep giving too much in relationships?

And why is it so difficult to change that pattern?

In this free 8-minute introduction, you get a clear and penetrating look at codependency from a Jungian perspective.

You will recognize the patterns. Over-giving. Rescuing. Losing yourself in the other. In your own life, or in the people you work with.

This is not only about behavior. You will see the deeper archetypal dynamic behind codependency. The split of the wounded healer. One carries the wound. The other becomes the healer.

Through the myth of Narcissus and Echo, this dynamic becomes visible in a new way.

Craig Chalquist, depth psychologist and experienced teacher, guides you with clarity.

There is also an 6 class course on Codependency and a course on Narcissism.

This TALK is ideal if you want to:

  • Move beyond surface-level advice and understand codependency at a deeper level
  • Work with a Jungian perspective when other approaches have not gone far enough
  • Recognize the archetypal dynamics driving over-giving and rescuing
