“The Ascendants and Their Rulers” is the third of three advanced astrology courses offered by Alexander Von Schlieffen on the Jung Platform.

In this course,”The Ascendants and Their Rulers”, Alexander closes the cycle of advanced courses and invites us to spiral out on our own.
The rising sign shows what was happening in the sky at the moment you were born. The sign and the position of its ruler reveal what is asking to be raised into life with your help. To live a meaningful life, the motive of the rising sign has to be in the center of your personality and efforts. If you don’t allow your inborn purpose to be a main motor in your life, you will be frustrated no matter how “successful” you are.
At the same time, fulfilling your personal mission serves more than yourself. The ascendent of the individual brings something that the whole family system needs for its further development. Class One: Ascendants from the 1st quadrant of the mundane chart: Aries, Taurus & GeminiIn class one, Alexander will look at the rising signs of Aries, ruled by Mars, Taurus ruled by Venus, and Gemini ruled by Mercury. In this class, as in all that follow, he’ll discuss the placement of the ascendant’s ruler in each of the quadrants of the birth chart.
Class Two: Ascendants from the 2nd quadrant: Cancer, Leo, Virgo
In this class Alexander unpacks the ascendants Cancer ruled by the Moon, Leo ruled by the Sun, and Virgo ruled by Mercury.
Class Three: Ascendants from the 3rd quadrant: Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius
Discussed in this class by Alexander; Libra rising ruled Venus, Scorpio ruled by Pluto (for some Mars), and Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter.
Class Four: Ascendants from the 4th quadrant: Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces
